Steve Gerber

Steve Gerber passed away last month and has left the industry the poorer for it.

He was a unique voice in comics - uncompromising, funny, scathing, a simply a damned brilliant writer and on the top of my wish list of writers to work with.

Steve - thanks for Howard (especially issue 16), Man-Thing, the totally bonkers team book The Defenders and the ridiculously good and criminally under-rated Nevada. You enriched my childhood and what I laughingly refer to as adulthood.

Busy, busy, busy

I've soo much on at the moment (and no I'm not complaining) - college = busy, freelance = super, super busy.

There's a ton of work I've done that I'd like to share but I can't yet, so heres a 'draw-over' I did for a student that turned out okay and fits the sketch remit of this blog.

No, it's not Supergirl but it does have something of her about it doesn't it.
